 My body is not asymmetrical August 19, 2008

Although the sound quality of these earphones is good, they seem to be made for people who are 5ft 6ins or smaller, with asymmetrical bodies.
The right ear cable is 18ins long but the left one is only 8ins long. I am 6ft 2ins tall, which is not unusually tall, and if I have my MP3 player in the pocket of my jeans, the left cable does not reach my ear. It's OK if I'm wearing a jacket (so pockets are therefore nearer to my head), but even in this cracker of a summer we're experiencing, I find a jacket too warm to wear, so jeans/trouser pockets are my only choice.
I have to lean in a most awkward way to my left, in order to fit the earphone into my left ear, and I fail to understand why both left and right ear cables could not be the same length......at least 12ins.
I have never experienced such short earphones before, and it is only a matter of time before I throw them away in frustration.
Wire Noise! August 11, 2008
Generally, if you don't move around much the sound is fine. A bit more treble than I was used to from the original Ipod headphones (mine were stolen). Unfortunately there is a LOT of wire noise so that when you are walking with the ipod on the wire noise becomes very distracting. Sounds like galloping horses all over the music.

I had owned a pair of these earphones for over 2 years now and they never let me down until after 2 years of use and abuse from my constant ipod playing they started to become tatty, but in no means broken! So i decided to invest in another pair of sennheiser cx300's after reading bad reviews on the newer models.
I recieved them today and once i had got them out of that typically annoying packaging that is impossible to open, i pluged them straight into my ipod to test them out and see if the sound quality met up to the standards of my old cx300's.
I can gladly say that they did. They still offer that fantastic bass and sound quality aswell as the fabulous noise cancelling which is handy when you dont want to listen to someone rant on lol.
I would definately reccomend these earphones to anyone who wants great sound quality on a budget! 10/10
Great value for money August 8, 2008
I've only had these headphones for one day and already I would recommend them to anybody. The sound is brilliant, but you need to make sure you try all the different sized earbuds to get the right fit, I'm hearing stuff I never knew existed on tracks I thought I knew well. I hadn't tried in-ear headphones before so wasn't sure what to expect, but they are such an improvement sound wise that I won't be trying any other kind from now on. They are really comfortable too, I could only wear my old Sony ones for about an hour before they started to hurt, but I feel I could wear these all day!
The only down side is the lack of a carry case. Other than that if you are looking for good quality headphones at a cheap price then go for these.
Great sound, great price August 7, 2008
I would highly recommend these earphones. One of my iPod earphones blew so I popped into Curry's and found these for 40. I didn't really want to spend that much so decided to try online and found them for 1/4 of the price on Amazon. The sound quality is amazing and makes such a difference in comparison to the standard iPod earphones (really good base as well). Only annoying thing I found is the wire getting twisted and stuck on things but if you wear them around the back of your neck you should be sweet.
