Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Very pleasantly surprised   July 16, 2008
Perfect for clearly lighting the step to our garage which in winter is an accident waiting to happen. Robust and easy to install too.

5 out of 5 stars Pretty much faultless.   April 27, 2008

If you're looking for a very easy to install light to help you get the key in the door on a dark night then this is perfect. I've already got 4 and I'm about to order another 2 so every outbuilding has one.

If you're looking for a bright light to deter intruders then look elsewhere as this is not really a security light.

5 out of 5 stars Solar PIR light   April 20, 2008

We bought this Solar PIR light to enable us to see in the dark when we go to our shed which is at the bottom of the garden.
It is perfect for this purpose the PIR is sensitive from a good distance and whilst the light does not seem quite as powerful as the manufacturers state, it does light up the shed door and surround, the key hole and padlock perfectly. I would decscribe it as having the power of a fairly strong LED torch. It was simple to set up and has a key to detach the light so it is very portable. Very pleased with the item and no longer trip over things near the shed in the dark.

4 out of 5 stars Solar Welcome Door Light   March 23, 2008

Quite a neat little gizmo - plus points are that it is self contained and self powered unit that is easy to fit and needs no wiring. It produces enough light to see your way to open a door/climb stairs/etc at night, but not as bright as a mains powered light.

4 out of 5 stars A cute idea - fairly successfully executed   January 9, 2008

This solar-powered outside light gives you a cheap and easy way of throwing light on your situation. But don't think you are getting a security light; it is just not powerful enough for that. But if you have an unlit exterior entrance this is just to job to help you find your keyhole, or your dog, in the dark. Of course the great advantage with this product is that you don't need an electricity supply and you don't need an electrician to fit it.
