 Increasingly Grossly Inaccurate over a relatively short time September 14, 2008
These have gradually become more and more inaccurate over the last 2 years. My very cheap scales I nearly threw out when I got these, agree with the (presumably) accurate health club scales I use, plus some trousers I cannot wear when I am even a couple of pounds overweight, do fit me, when these scales say I am 7 lbs or about 3Kgs heavier than I think. Also the weight difference has been increasingly drifting heavier and heavier which suggests to me (I am an engineer) that this is a badly engineered piece of equipment.
I should also add that my hgusband has also found exactly the same thing even though he is 30Kg heavier than me.
For people trying to watch their weight this is disgraceful.
limited life scales?? August 25, 2008
Worked fine for 14 months, then showed "LO". Replaced batteries, same again after 3 days, and again and again 6 times? 40 to replace scales that might last less than a year according to some of the other reviews. I dont think so!
Electrical fault? April 14, 2008

Others seem to have had this problem. The unit worked fine for about 10 weeks and then the batteries showed LO. We replaced them, but they only lasted three days. Thinking that the batteries were the problem, we replaced them again on Friday last. They are flat again this morning - (confirmed by AVO meter). The scale will have to go back, I think.
 Great facilities but broke April 8, 2008
Great facility to store data on 4 people - body fat, fat%, body water etc.
I found it easyish to set up following the manual. Once set up it's easy to record your personal data and read it out again without the manual.
Reliability - 2 buttons stopped working after 5 months. However I'm buying a new one and returning the old one to Amazon (at zero cost as postage is refunded too). That's how much I like it - let's see long the next one lasts!

When I first opened the box, the glass scale looked too thin to step on, I was afraid I'd break it but it's very strong.
It's very accurate but doesn't work on carpet even with the carpet feet - don't bother.
The programming bit is a bit tricky - the book isn't very clear and it took me a while to work out, but now it's a great tool to monitor weight.
I write all the figures down and store them in a diary to chart my weight loss. The screen did show "ERR" once, but I think that was because I didn't wait for it to show 0. It also says in the book that your feet may be dry so I'd advise splashing a little water on first (be careful not to slip).
Overall a great scale, working well, I'm glad I bought it.
