This is a great little hairdryer, very light to hold and I found that I only needed to use the cooler air settings so kind to my hair as well. If you are looking for poker straight hair, this won't do it, I think only a straightener will, but by using this and an ordinary straightening brush I found my hair was quite straight and very soft and silk. I only used the straightener quickly on the very ends. The cord is quite short compared to other hair stylers I have so I have had to invest in an extension cable to reach the mirror but a small price to pay. I would definitely recommend this for any length and texture of hair.

I never thought that buying a new hairdryer could make such a difference to my hair!
If, like I was, you are sceptical and think that all this 'ionic/ ceramic technology' is a load of scientific rubbish trying to con us into forking out even more money- buy this hairdryer and be amazed at the effect on your hair!
For the bargain price of 20 you get a dryer that is incredibly powerful (yet surprisingly quiet), lightweight and smart and that leaves you with smooth, soft, shiny hair. Like I said it has the ionic/ ceramic stuff that is usually only found in more expensive dryers. It also has the regular features you would expect: a fast setting for normal drying and a slower one for styling; cool, warm and hot settings and a cool shot button to set your style.
It now takes me far less time to dry my hair and I have definitely noticed that my hair looks a lot less frazzled than it used to. If I put the effort in and blow dry it properly (easy thanks to the concentrator nozzle), I even find I don't need to use my straighteners afterwards- a definite benefit!
If I had to be picky I would point out that it doesn't have a diffuser, and that the cable could be longer. But for that kind of price, you have to compromise on something.
Overall, this is brilliant value for money. A powerful, efficient dryer that really makes a difference to your hair. Buy one now and it'll be 20 well spent!

I generally agree with the previous reviewer. It's definitely a lot more powerful than most yet it's relatively light and surprisingly not that noisy.
I bought this last week as my old hair dryer started to play up. Wow this one is so much better than any other I've owned before! For one thing, I was looking for an ionic one as it's supposed to be kinder to the hair and also a more powerful one so it would dry my hair faster. It didn't disappoint and I was very pleased with the results. I now use this to blow my hair almost dry and then finish it with the Remington Wet2Straight wide hair straightener, another great product I purchased recently from Amazon.
One thing I disagree with the previous reviewer though - I find the 1st and 2nd heat settings just cool/warm and the third setting hot but not too hot. So if you need a very hot option, this is not going to provide it. But I find it ideal for me as I do not want to risk burning my hair/scalp!
It would be nice if the cable was longer but I guess it's a similar length to most others. I'm not sure what the cool shot function is about really (maybe I'm not using it properly?) but I think the lowest heat setting with the highest power setting gives that effect already.
Overall, a very good product and real value for money.

I am not very good at achieving a salon-like blow-dry but with this dryer, it is much easier to get better results. This is a sleek, powerful dryer that dries hair really quickly with the high pressure air-flow and leaves my hair frizz-free and with a bit of shine. I mostly use the 1st & 2nd heat settings as the 3rd one is really hot. It is surprisingly light considering the power this dryer has. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the cord is not very long (I think it is about 1.7m). I was debating on whether to fork out on a more professional dryer but I am glad I didn't as this is an incredibly good dryer for a very low price. Recommend.
