 Worked briefly, too low quality and too fragile May 15, 2008

I bought this a few months ago, and its low price should've been a clear indicator of its quality.
Its made of low quality plastic, and unless you're careful with it the blades will rust quickly. Batteries don't last long in it and it's not robust in the slightest.
It was fairly good at trimming the ol' nasal hair but it certainly wasn't spectacularly effective.
It met its end when I dropped it on a carpet and it broke into a million pieces. It's clearly not designed to withstand any kind of impact, so if you buy one of these, be careful with it!
I'd recommend buying a stainless steel, non-battery operated alternative.

I bought this item a few weeks ago, and since then I've found it indispensable. Gone are the days of watering eyes, caused by tweezing my nose hair. This little gizmo does the job quickly and efficiently, without any fuss. One thing I did note is that you need to push it further into your nose than you think, but there's no irritation or pain or sneezing.
The only niggle I have with it is the battery compartment. It might be just the one I have, but the connection doesn't always "take". Wiggling the battery about solves it, though.
Well worth the price. And it's small enough to take with you anywhere, or leave on top of the bathroom cabinet without anyone noticing.

It's an ok bit of kit, but suprisingly bulky when it arrived...not at all as compact as it seems online.
The first time I used it, it didn't get many nose hairs, because they grow in different directions, and was extremely ticklish (not just what you'd expect) because it chops the hairs into tiny little bits which then fly up your nose (some even as far as the back of my throat - I was sneezing, and hacking them up until the next day!)
The second time I used it, I made sure to take a deep breath and breathe out slowly through my nose while I used it, to try and blow the tiny cut hairs out (it kinda worked - I was only sneezing for an hour or so after using it). Also I was a little less nervous about cutting the inside of my nose so was a bit more forceful with it & got more hairs trimmed...but all in all, still not as good as just an ordinary small pair of scissors, though slightly quicker...

This Wahl nasal trimmer broke the fourth time I used it. It just packed up working, even a change of battery would not put new life into it. Whilst it worked it was okay but I'm afraid this one is doomed to the dustbin. A total waste of money.

The previous reviewer says it all...this is a nice little piece of kit that washes under the tap and doesn't irritate the nasal passages when trimming.Not many products in this bracket come with recommendations but this deserves to be given some.
