My first impressions on this product were positive. It looks meaty, is lightweight, is solid in construction and the tools are conveniently located. It packs into small space and is easy to carry around. Even down to the rubber wheels, it has been well thought of up until this point.

My gripe with the product is the telescopic wand. It collapses for easy storage and extends for use. However, you cannot lock it into place in use. Therefore, once the super suction has adhered to the floor, any forward pressure just collapses the wand. You end up just having to drag the wand towards you in one direction. A poor design fault.

Great suction, power and low noise level. A good product except for this minor fault.

I purchased this after finally losing patience with my ineffective hoover. The difference is dramatic. I have found the Dyson to be powerful, reliable and easy to manoevre. I have been motivated to write this review because I was surprised to read other negative reviews.I have had no problems whatsoever since I purchased it over 6 months ago and would thoroughly recommend it.

THIS VACUUM CLEANER IS THE WORST ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE I HAVE EVER OWNED. For the first 2 months of owning it i thought it was great, but dont be fooled! After this, it suddenly started to not pick up very well, and after washing the filters out (which claim to be Lifetime wash every 6 months), it didnt improve, so after 2 months, i had to buy a new filter. The price of it was shocking-around 12.00. So much for it being lifetime! So then it started to pick up a bit better, but not like it was. Then a couple of months later, the stair tool fell into 2 pieces and also the floor tool broke. Both pieces cost me in total 40. In the end i had to stop using it, because it wasnt making my bank account look too clever. DONT BUY IT, ITS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!
