Deep Purple Grind The Coffee! April 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It does the job absolutely fine, and consistantly! I couldn't fault the quality of grind it does, although, the minimum is 4 cups, and me bieng the only espresso liker in the house, i am left with too much coffee afterwards. The pieces on it seem very breakable, and it isn't black, it's dark purple! But it does the job, so except that, i cannot complain. A better tasting espresso... Nice!
What a mess March 1, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
All you want from a grinder is a fast grind of a reasonable quantity and then the ability to transfer the ground coffee without making a mess. Once the coffee is ground in this machine you can try to spoon the coffee out of the machine or you can invert the whole machine and try to catch it in the lid. Either way you will end up with coffee all over the place.
Good coffee grinder January 2, 2008 This is a good coffee grinder. The description about it being able to grind between 4 & 12 cups is baffling and i think it's simply a gimmick (i don't see what it does!). However, it can grind to any level you wish as you can ignore the green lights coming on and grind it as fine or as coarse as you wish. A solid well made adjustable coffee grinder at a competitive price.

For the money, this is excellent value. It is simple to use, and gives super results every time. I particularly like the cord storage. Highly recommended.
Excellent value January 23, 2007 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
When my expensive burr-grinder died I decided not to spend too much money on a new grinder. Well, for the money it's a bargain. It will consistently grind beans, there's no need for you to use a timer. I've used a french press ( coarse grind) and a moka pot ( fine grind). Both resulted in great coffee. I am convinced this is the best blade-style grinder available. Still, it comes with the same ' flaw' as other blade style grinders: it's simply not possible to create a very fine ( pump style espresso machine) or super fine ( turkish coffee) grind.
