not so good September 19, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this product because i was fed up with foil sticking to our food plus it had good ratings. But i had this product for about four months and had to throw it away. It was good in that food didnt stick to it, but I agree with "eylant" cooking stains does not wash off and did get dirty very quickly and oil was hard to come off even by washing it in lots of soapy water, mine product also split down the middle even though we kept it rolled up when not in use. So if you are looking for something short term then this is ok to use.
Scones and sausages rolls burnt no more! May 15, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this item as I had seen another brand advertised on tv but did not want to pay the 40 price tag, so when I seen this, It wasnt alot of money being wasted if it didnt work....well it does, its the best thing ever for baking on and im now in the process of buying the whole range. Fantastic, cleans up great, and not a burnt base in sight!! Higly recommended for all you budding cooks.
Can't keep clean May 17, 2006 5 out of 28 found this review helpful
Now it may be that we aren't using it corerctly (we just put it on a baking tray in the oven, put food on it and after eating and it cooling down with the baking tray, try to wash it with washing up liquid in the sink). The sheet quicky got very dirty and this black/brown remains doesn't come off unless you scrape it, and doesn't come anywhere near the bright orange colour it once was. I haven't tried putting it in the dishwasher as it's quite floppy, but will do to see if it comes out sparkling like new.
The sheet works fine still, but looks awful. Also it's a bit too wide compared with a standard baking tray. It promised so much, and can't deliver on all those promises other than being non-stick.
great a non rust baking tray November 14, 2005 31 out of 33 found this review helpful
Lets see how many old rusty baking trays have I got in my kitchen... Loads, well this is superb - it does look a bit strange and feels as if it should be nowhere near the oven but it does the job magnificently. I just lay it on the top of my old tray and food dosent stick to it - its very easy to clean - you can even put it in the dishwasher! The best thing is that you are not going to scratch the surface and rub off the non stick! Well worth the money.
NEW GENERATION IN BAKEWARE! July 26, 2004 65 out of 68 found this review helpful
'Le Creuset's' Silicone 'cook and bake' sheet (38cm x 30cm) provides a superb non-stick surface for baking all sorts of wonderful items! Meringues are our favourite recipe with this. Washes up a treat, time after time. It is also dishwasher safe. Requires less cupboard storage space, too! A definite MUST for the modern kitchen.
