I have to say that prior to buying this bin I did have a 1.99 swing bin from one of the cheap stores on the high street which although it was rubbish I'd put up with for some years thinking I had better things to spend my money on. However, I was wrong! As soon as I opened the outer packaging I could see the quality. The brushed aluminium look suits my kitchen perfectly.
The pedal action means that I no longer have to touch the bin with my hands at all (which for someone who has a tendency to wash their hands too much is a god-send!). Inside is a bucket which you can lift out and carry to the dustbin/wheelie bin outside with ease. Any nasty smells are kept inside due to the tight seal between the lid and the base (puts my old bin to shame).
Needless to say the swing bin has been put to rest and I'm recommending this bin to anyone I know. It's truly awesome(and I certainly never thought I'd get so passionate about a bin!).

Heh heh heh, after dozens of `entertainment' reviews it's fun to write over the top hyper-boyle for a kitchen bin.
But what a kitchen bin ladies and gentlemen, what a kitchen bin!
It features a space age `peddle action', which causes the lid to open with the merest press of your foot, or what ever else you might have handy for pressing peddles at a low level.
It has a plastic bucket inside which you can easily remove with the included handle. Perfect for..... cleaning I suppose (not really sure what the bucket feature is fore, but it's nice).
It also comes with some sort of manufacturers guarantee in exchange for product registration, a lovely little extra I'm sure you'll agree.
This bin was purchased to replace another one of the same model that I had personally gained 5 happy years of kitchen waste use from. That's how good this bin is ladies and gentlemen, so good it'll make a repeat customer out of you.
But do be warned - beautiful as it was when it came out of the box, my new bin is already picking up stains and I found these hard to clean off from the exterior of it's predecessor. So this is not a great bin for people with an obsessive compulsion to clean. But every body else with love this bin.
And the current Amazon price is a full 17 less then the RRP. You heard me right, that's 17. Beat that!
