I believe that it is not a pleasant experience to see a person coming out of shower room with cuts and bruises on his face. Unfortunately, I've had to see this daily up until I recently presented my husband with MSS.
I used to see my husband struggling with his outrageous razor to achieve smooth and close shave. How can you avoid cuts and bruises on most difficult contours of your face while working with a stiff straight tool? Huh…..
This thought took me to MSS when I was searching something meaningful for my husband as our First anniversary present.I was quite excited for the gift I got for him so when he tried MSS for the first time I enjoyed the experience the same way he did.
He just filled the Nivea fluid in his shaver and it was ready to start with. No need of brushing the face thoroughly with shaving foam and wait for the stiff beard to become soft. The movement of the MSS was amazing; it seemed like shaver was smoothly massaging his face. Nivea fluid gave the finest lubrication and pivot movements were submissively following the contours of the face. I could undoubtedly see the WOW!!! Expression on my husband's face….
The grip on shaver was so perfect and its "JUST RIGHT" shape gives full control to handle it with ease. I could well imagine how electrified was my husband with this unique gizmo that he eagerly explained me what is so unique about this shaver…..The shaver head has 2 pivot actions, not only the head itself moves and follows the contours of the face but also the 3 Flex Tracker automatically tracks the curves of the face and protect against skin irritation….
I am really happy that I had spent my time and energy to find something that can actually make a difference. What else can be a more meaningful gift than MSS as it reminds him of my care and love every morning.

Comments from other reviewers appear to be rather polarised, with many praising this as the best shaver ever, with others apparantly being less than impressed. My objective view is that this shaver falls between both stools. Firstly, this gives a very good shave indeed - there's no skin irritation and the product is really simple and easy to use. I would take issue with some of the comments suggesting that this gives as close a shave as a wet shave; it doesn't. However, I would also refute comments made by others that this product is over-rated; it isn't. You'll come away with a good shave and I'm finding that I'm using a wet razor every third day rather than every other day. In all, this is well worth the money (particularly as the RRP is actually 70 quid) and I would say this is a very good product indeed. Recommended!

I've never written a product review before but i was so impressed with this shaver that i just had to tell everyone. I've never bought an electric shaver before and have been razor shaving for 18years. Decided to finally take the plunge as i had read some good reviews about this shaver and was really bored with razor shaving and needed to try something different. Amazon are selling it for 42 as opposed to other retailers that sell it for 70 so i decided to take the plunge. Used it last nite for the 1st time and was truly amazed. I had almost a weeks growth (and i get really thick stubble) It chewed through that no problem. It then went on to leave a finish that is as smooth and close as my Fusion power. It takes longer than a razor but is oddly relaxing to use. Whenever you feel any drag you can just press the button and squirt more gel onto the blades. Washing under the tap or in water as you shave is SO easy and my boat felt like a babys ass afterwards. I got through 2 tanks of gel in the shaver in one shave so the trial gel bottle probably wont last very long but you can squirt normal shaving gel onto the blades and this actually works better anyway. Im gonna try prising the lid off the nivea bottle and pouring Boots own brand shaving balm in there as this will save a lot in running costs. The flexible cloverleaf head is brilliant as it adjusts to all the contours which fixed head shavers cant do. It even shaved the nooks and crannies that my fusion power cant reach. Impressive to say the least.
Only fault is the seal on the rear casing that holds the pressurized gel inside the shaver. When i finished shaving i refilled it back to maximum and put it on charge. When i woke up this morning i noticed that some of the gel had oozed out of the seals and the gel tank was half empty so from now on i'll make sure that i leave the gel tank empty when i finish using it. Not really a problem but the only reason why i gave it 4stars rather than 5.

I bought this shaver from Amazon two weeks ago. I was fed up with using razors, so I decided to try this shaver.
There is only one problem with this shaver that the conditioner provided or used in this shaver is not for my skin. My skin is dry and using conditioner while shaving makes it very smooth but small hair are sticked to skin due to conditoner and obviously like other shavers it requires washing face with water after shave. So, my skin remain soft for 15-20 mins after shave but then I have to apply some cream on skin to avoid too much dryness.
Afterall, this shaver is very very good and works perfectly.
 First and Last Electric Shaver August 2, 2008
I decided to buy this electric shaver after using standard blade shavers prior. It does exactly what i want and shaves extremely close to the skin. The fact the shaving cream comes out of the shaver is a nice little feature (and it smells very good too) but i just use standard shaving gel anyway because it does the job a lot cheaper.
It shaves nicely around the face, it's flexibility helps you control the shaver very easily. Washing the shaver is also very easy even if you have to take apart the heads (although running it under a hot tap for 30 seconds seems to clean it fine). The instructions tell all throroughly.
Worth buying, not sure if the upgrade is really worth getting unless you want to use the Nivea cream with every shave.

Well worth buying as a first electric shaver. Having become sick of the cuts obtained using cheap throw away razors and the expense of buying new blades for manual razors, this purchase has impressed me greatly.
Offering a very good shave, good manoveurability and excellent treatment of the skin i highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy electric but not spend a couple days wages and get a top end razor.
