To use this course you should already have a basic knowledge of Russian grammer and the Russian alphabet. The listening comprehension games are fun and great for building both an active and passive vocabulary. This disc will not help you much to learn much more grammer on your own. It will however let you hear and repeat many useful words and phrases until you can successfully repeat them and even use them in different contexts. It is so much fun it is almost addictive, which is a great change for a language course. It could be a very good back up to a more formal course. Takes about 40 hours to work through.
