The first edition of Visual studio 2005 to provide what I would call professional features such as remote debugging, integration with SQL server 2005 and a truly integrated environment. Still if you are looking for the edge then you should consider the team system or one of the specialised team editions which can provide a greater degree of professionalism to your development effort.

Whilst the product is brilliant, the fact remains that this item, currently selling for GBP 540, is on sale at Amazon.com for USD 699. That's a premium of over 50%. What a rip off country we live in.

If you thought Visual Studio.NET 2003 was good, wait till you try this. It is a vast improvement over the 2003 edition with a better interface and easier to code than ever before. If you need programming results fast, use this. You will wonder how you ever programmed without it.
