The best song ever recorded February 2, 2001
This is by some distance my favourite song. The final minute in particular makes this the most amazing piece of music ever recorded. The lyrics are fantastic even if they sound like gibberish on the first few listens. If you add to that the fact that you get Everybody Hurts and World Leader Pretend on here as well you have three of REM's best songs ... Bargain.
Top song November 18, 2000
One of the best songs on Automatic for the People, Find the River is a classic. Loads of little things about this song make it brilliant, the piano sequence between lyrics near the end of the song, the sheer randomness of some of those lyrics, this is truly a classic.
