1 out of 5 stars Dreadful!   May 17, 2007

The first thing that struck me when I first started watching this was that there is no Don Letts - surely the most influential person in the group in terms of musicality. Then you notice that the only original memeber of BAD on this DVD is Mick Jones - hence the one star - and the performance looks like a boy-band on a German pop show, who have drafted in one of their dads to do lead vocals. As the reviewer below says the performances and the sound are pretty rubbish so please, please save your money and buy Don Letts' Dread Meets Punk Rockers Uptown instead.

1 out of 5 stars A Not So Good Concert   February 26, 2007

BAD were a great band and sadly underappreciated. Their first 5 albums from "This Is B.A.D" through to "Kool Aid" were funky, innovative and fun.If you listen to these now, its amazing how fresh they still feel, and Jone's songwriting is always interesting. Unfortunately this is a poor DVD to represent such a band. Firstly this the 2nd incarnation of the group, with Jones getting rid of the original 5 piece. First song Medicine Show a real classic, is out of tune, and the band rush through it too quickly. Another classic E=MC2 is re-jigged and sounds totally awful. Best song is probably Other 99 which stays faithful to the original. The camera work is shaky, and with only 7 songs its an obviously edited show. Don't waste your time, and hope maybe sometime that a proper DVD is released, one with interviews, videos and selected live clips.
