There were so many songs that I had never heard before. I thought I was going to know them all so it was very disappointing. I wonder how many were actually "hits"?

100 Hit's - 80s contains all the original versions (except one excellent live version (Rabbit - Chas 'n' Dave)) with every song an 80's UK Hit. If you want a CD that gives you an overview of the 80's this 5 CD Box Set is it!!
Containing 8 number ones (Land Of Make Believe - Bucks Fizz, Down Under - Men At Work, Japanese Boy - Aneka, Perfect - Fairground Attraction, The Sun Always Shines On T.V. - A-Ha, Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home) - Paul Young, 99 Red Balloons - Nena, La Bamba - Los Lobos), 7 songs that reached number two (Take On Me - A-Ha, Call Me - Spagna, When Will I Be Famous? - Bros, What Is Love - Howard Jones, Beat Dis - Bomb The Bass, Love And Pride - King, Abracadabra [Ext version] - The Steve Miller Band) and many more excellent songs from that excellent musical decade.
I am very glad that I have this CD in my collection.

This collection is unbelievable value for the money. There's 5 CDS packed with great songs that you'll recall from 20 years ago. They were all big back then and even if you don't like them (I really hate some of them lol)you still have the nostalgia factor to go for.
For the price asked is THE bargain, you won't risk a bit with this one. I would say "essential for any CD collection, of any size".

FINALLY! --- A huge, 5 CD box set with many of the greatest hits from the finest decade of music - the 1980s. Many of the stars of the decade such as A-Ha, Bucks Fizz, Wham, Debbie Gibson and Aztec Camera are featured within 101 songs with a couple of their greatest hits. A nice mix of artists and not a rip off as every song was huge back in day making this a super value box set at an unbelievable price for such quality. If you are a fan of 80s music then this collectionis a must have, if you were around during those 10 years, the memories will all come flooding back to you, I can guarantee it.
Fully recommened, a super release!

best 80s album ive bought,takes me right back to the days when i was slim and had some hair to comb, but seriously a must for anyone who remembers 80s music.
