Sorry but this is just same old GTA, even though that might not be such a bad thing I feel that I'd like to lower the games rating due to their being nothing particularly new about this game. Nor are the graphics that overwhelming. The car handling is not realistic, its just clunky and annoying. The shooting system is OK, not great just average, and the cover system never seems to work when you really need it to.
Having said that, the multiplayer's a lot of fun and is nice addition to the GTA series. And the story is the best in the series yet. Which is why I give 4 stars instead of 3.
Don't get me wrong its Fun, but you've seen it all before. I really wouldn't agree with every single critic in the world giving it a 10 out of 10. An generous 8 perhaps?

I could drive around corners in GTA3, and I can drive around corners in a real car, but I can't drive around corners in this stupid game and it's no fun.
I'm sure given enough practice I would get the hang of it, but frankly I'd rather play something else instead. Two fingers up to Rockstar for screwing up what I'm sure is an otherwise awesome game, mine is going on Buy It Used.

not even as good as some of the originals just better graphics online play system is terrible a totally over rated game im trading it in straight away as beleive me after a couple of hours of playing it just gets more and more boring

W0W!, this game is a very enjoyable game. The storyline is fantastic and interesting, gameplay rocks and now you can choose to kill or not kill people. I have just completed the game today and the feeling of acheivment you get is incredible. I would definately reccomend this to any GTA fan.

Very detailed, some may disagree but after a few weeks of playing you begin to notice more features in the game. Yes, some may seem hurried as they probably were but theyre still good. Only drawbacks as far as I am concerned are the lack of things like bicycles, jetpacks, fixed wing planes and so on, these were what made San Andreas so good. The other dissapointments are long install process first off and when you've got heat the map is impossible to see on my television screen. Overall, very impressed, a good base like GTA III obiously the next ones will see more things to do,, hopefully like Vice City And San Andreas did.
