5 out of 5 stars Is it a bird? Is it a plane? ...   October 30, 2006

No, and it's not a King Elephant either, as S Beer "Sophie" said. Well, mine was a Viking SD card and it works just as it should. And it's really cheap.
Buy one. You've no reason not to.
End of Review.

5 out of 5 stars For once, price does not determine quality   October 5, 2006

I have had no issues with this card, it fits perfectly in my Canon Digital IXUS 750, and the read / write transfer times are much better than anticipated. It is possible to shoot in 60 frames per second, contrary to what some reviews say, which is a definite added bonus.

I've dropped it, trodden on it and abused till no end without any problems,

Recommended: don't bother with the expensive 'own-brand' SanDisk cards, when cheaper brands do the job

Got this card a couple of months back, when i received i was surprised to see it was not a Viking card as advertised but a King Elephant - whatever brand that is. Worked fine for a while but now it keeps freezing and when my cam is plugged into my comp it freezes my computer too. Would not recommend unless you are aware of the King Elephant brand.....

5 out of 5 stars Top chip   September 8, 2006

I used this with a Canon IXUS60 and it gave fantastic performance. Not a problem anywhere. I took 2 minutes of video and 400 shots without any problems. Speed was not an issue. Do not go anywhere else. Even in duty free the cheapest 1GB SD card was 30!!!! Do not buy more expensive versions you are being robbed. This chip was used evryday for 2 weeks in tempretures of over 42 degrees and in high humidity and the in air conditioned environments at 18 degrees. Not a single problem with camera or memory.
