Well the batteries have lasted in my camera(from woolworth by the way) although they do drain when taking video shots. but this camera is great and takes beautiful crisp pictures and is real easy to use it is possible that the people giving it one star its just you luck of the draw im sure loads of eletronic good have there faults if it does then you do have the right to a full refund witin 7 days if not take out the guarantee on it or is that too much common sense??. anyhow this camera is great
Movie file format March 21, 2008 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have read the reviews about the battery life and agree 100% with the recommendation to buy rechargeables - the larger the capacity the better. Battery life is fine with these.
The movie file format is .AVI which the latest version of software such as Microsoft PowerPoint will load OK, but PowerPoint 2002 and probably earlier versions cannot load this type of movie file. If this is a major issue with you, do not buy this camera but otherwise it is great performer.
Batteries Fail within 20 Shots March 13, 2008 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I ordered this camera from Amazon and it failed to arrive in post. Contacted Amazon and they were terrific and shipped another unit immediately. The camera arrived and appeared to perform OK. Within 20 shots it said the batteries were low so I replaced them. Second set of batteries faired no better. Checked for problems with this camera on Web and I found this battery issue is a common reported fault. Returned camera as unfit for purpose.
breaks very easily March 4, 2008 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
i was actually quite happy with it until it decided to break one day. just completely stopped working one day for no reason in particular. lens got stuck in full zoom and now it won't even turn on... taught me a lesson that you get what you pay for, very disappointing... won't be spending this little on a digital camera again (unless i only want to use it for a month or so). hope this helps!!
Battery nightmare February 20, 2008 8 out of 12 found this review helpful
Yes, it is easy to use and takes nice pictures but what is the point if you are constantly having to recharge the batteries. It's a total nightmare and I have given up....it is a total waste of money.
