We recieved the quick cup today, and we love it! We have set it to our own prefered cup size and it couldn't be easier!
It does make a bit of noise, but its not bad at all. Although not boiling the water is certainly hot enough for coffee.
Would recomend this product to anyone!

If this product was reliable, it would be brilliant. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have said, it needs to go back to the drawing board. The first one I had leaked, so I sent it back for a replacement. The second one stopped dispensing hot water yesterday. I tried again today, and nothing came out - it had fused. I replaced the fuse, and hot water ensued for all of 2 seconds, then went cold again. I gave up, and have just e-mailed Amazon for a return.
Update: I have received the replacement, and it is very temperamental. Sometimes it dispenses hot water: sometimes it doesn't. I'll give it a little longer, then I shall ask for my money back. And write to Tefal, who probably know all this anyway!!!
2nd update: the third one lasted less than a month, so its going back and I'm giving up.
What a shame! When it worked, it was brilliant. I kept a jug under the spout to prevent drips on the worktop, which jug I also used to fill the reservoir quickly without removing it. My husband did moan it wasn't hot enough for tea with milk, but he moans about everything . . .

A few things about this product:
1) It sounds like a Chinook is flying over your house every time you make a drink
2) It really isn't for filling anything larger than a cup, in fact it takes an age to do that
3) After about 3 weeks you can quickcup your bare foot with no risk of any injury
It really does seem that this is a version 1.0 of a product that is great in concept, but obviously needed a lot more work before it hit the shops.

I first saw the Tefal One Cup at my Fiance's friend house and thought it was amazing! I didn't comment on it at the time to give him the 'impression'...'seen one of them before...not bothered'!! As soon as i got home i ordered one through Amazon, which i have to add were definatly the cheapest i had seen including delivery. The Tefal One Cup, in my opinion, is amazing! Very fast, saves on energy and makes a great coffee/tea. If i had to moan about anything, and it would be a very small moan, it is slightly noisier than i first thought but hey...who cares...its fantastic!! Ha ha...famous last words hey!! I am now editing this review after only 2 weeks, its stopped producing hot water! Sending back for refund, not even bothering to get a replacement. Think i will stick to the good old fashioned kettle for now. Will give product 2 stars now...one for each week it worked!! Sorry Tefal.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and the first few days it was great - lovely hot drinks, then I felt the temperature wasn't so hot and after a week, the water was completely cold. I took it back to Sainsbury's who replaced it and the same thing has happened again to the 2nd one. It has lasted exactly 1 week. I don't know if Sainsburys have got a faulty batch, but I'm returning it tomorrow and getting a refund this time. Shame, cause when it worked for a few days, I loved it! Can't afford to waste nearly 60 though.
