Track 1. Rockferry
This is a really good song, seems boring at the begining but as it gets further into the song its alot better 10/10

Track 2. Warwick Avenue
Second sigle of the album a great song but not the best one of the album. Could be worse 8/10

Track 3. Serious
Another really good song on the album, she has the perfect voice for this song 10/10

Track 4. Stepping Stone
The third single of the album its a really good song but i found it abit slow for me but it is still a great song 9.5/10

Track 5. Syrup & Honey
Probably the worst song on the album. Its still a good song but i find that it is quite continous and doesnt have a corus, i dont really listen to this song very much becuse this song is not the kind of music that i like 6/10

Track 6. Hanging On Too Long
Another really good song. The first verse seems to drag on for abit but when the song actually kicks in it is a really good one. I would say that this is the best song on the album if you pay attention to it 10/10

Track 7. Mercy
The first songle of the album, at number 1 for 5 weeks, i do like this song but i dont think that it was good enough to be at number 1 for 5 weeks, its a really good song but not that good 9/10

Track 8. Delayed Devotion
One of the best songs on the album it has great verses and great lyrics and choruses and is a really catchy tune, i didnt like it at first but then i got usto it and now it is 1 of my favourites 10/10

Track 9. I'm Scared
I didnt like this one at first util i listened to the chorus and i started to like it and now i love it. It is another of the best songs on the album. 10/10

Track 10. Distant Dreamer
I didnt pay much attention to this song at the begining because it lasted 5 minutes and i thought that it was just a tune with no words but when i listened to it i thought it was great and still like it today 10/10

1 out of 5 stars Awful   September 8, 2008

This album is truly awful. I bought it for my girlfriend almost purely because almost everyone else in the world has bought a copy. We both enjoy Amy Winehouse' Back to Black and as my g'friend usually ends up having to listen to my choice of music I thought this may be a welcome change for us both...

WRONG!!!

I believe the production is by Bernard Butler - who I like, however if he had just encouraged Duffy to write some words which didn't rely on a second hand rhyming dictionary from start to finish I might think the album marginally better. Poor, poor , poor lyrics and a lack-lustre vocal performance - rubbish.

I'm telling everyone how poor this is and I didn't want you to feel left out - don't be, read this and believe me - "it's dross".

5 out of 5 stars Duffy the voice   September 7, 2008

I first heard Warwick Avenue on Fiona Bruce's Radio 2 show and was blown away by the voice coming out of my radio. Ms Bruce subsequently waxed lyrical about the album and having bought it I haven't been disappointed. I think Duffy has a most amazing voice and whilst the album is melancholic all the songs are powerful and beautifully written. I have no doubt that Duffy will become very successful and I just hope her next offering is as good. It was said of her countryman Tom Jones that he was the voice maybe Wales has a new voice.

5 out of 5 stars Duffy don't cry   August 30, 2008

Duffy love, please stop crying......all I see is you sobbing on the music telly.....you got the lot, beauty, talent and you're Welsh...stop crying....please...there's no need...honestly!

3 out of 5 stars Good vocals, but quite depressing listening   August 26, 2008

The vocals are good. So too are most of the melodies. But almost every song is about betrayal and pain. The moody, downcast picture on the front of the album says it all. The album is instructive listening for all of us who casually enter into relationships and trample on each others hearts.
