I bought this book to take on a motorcycling trip to France (first European trip on bikes) and I couldn't put it down. Lois is a very brave, strong, humourous girl, I have a lot of admiration for her. I too would like to read another of her books. She's done a lot for "Girl Power". Keep riding/writing.

A really good read whether you are a motorcyclist or not. Written with great humour, I found it hard to put down.
I am really looking forward to her next book, due out in June, about her latest adventure through Africa.

I so enjoyed reading this book! I'm a keen motorcyclist, but have never been drawn to the various books out there about adventure motorcycling - until now. I found the book hard to put down and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapter in Lois's adventures!

An excellent read with adventure - mis-adventure - humor - overflowing toilets and cockroaches. The length of a continent on 4 pair of nickers & 2 sets of clothing & a dodgy Bike a gripping tale of Lois's travells through the America's and the characters she meets along the way - Ms Lois Price is a gem, a real star!
Very well written and very entertaining It was one of those rare books I just did not want to put down and I cannot wait for the Follow up in which Lois travels from London to Cape Town out next year.

Do you remember what Bridget Jones did for a living? No? It doesn't really matter, neither does the trip Lois took for her "adventure" it is more a story about her and a few of her friends. It is a easy beach read, but if you want to read about a proper trip read Jupiters Travels or even the Long Way Around, you will learn more about the trip and the people they meet.
