This book is wonderful... actually I hate reading but I bought this book because of Angelina! And it didn't make me disapointed at all... It makes you change the way you look at the world, change the way you think bout the world... basically change your world-view completely. Whether you are a fan of Angelina or not, it's still worth reading! I LOVE it!!! <3

Here we are in the western world in our comfortable homes, surrounded by those we love and perhaps not aware that many miles away are men, women & children suffering at the hands of other human beings and not able to even build a life for themselves or a future for their children. This book is an honest and open account of the journey that this wonderful example of what "celebrity" should be about, makes in order to bring a little bit of understanding about the plight of these poor individuals and how various organisations are trying to assist them with very little help. I can honestly say that prior to reading this book I was very cynical to the needs of refugees and my attitude towards them was extremely negative so I would like to thank Angelina for writing this journal as I feel that I have been enlightened and my outlook on life has changed drastically.

This book answers why some of us choose to do what others (like me) only hope of doing. The story is stronger and more meaningful than anything I can describe. This book is about help that goes beyond any boundary, religion and race. My congratulations to the author and her colleagues for sharing their experience in this brilliant book. My prayer for the author and her friends; May they are blessed with good health always and able to persevere in their course.

This book has made me realise just what is going on in the world. It makes me sad to think that a book like this has to be writen by a famous actress so people will read it. I enjoyed her thoughts and have discovered a new person inside of me. I think it would do everyone good to read this book.

CAN I BE ANYMORE IN LOVE WITH THIS WOMAN,YEAH PROBABLY, THIS BOOK IS SO SAD BUT SO UPLIFTING AT THE SAME TIME. TO LEARN OF THE HORRIFIC THINGS THAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN THROUGH IN THEIR LIVES AND THE PURE DETERMINATOIN THEY HAVE TO GET BY IS AMAZING. ANGELINA GAVE UP EVERYTHING WE ALL TAKE FOR GRANTED ON A DAILY BASIS TO LEARN AND THANKFULLY TO WRITE IT ALL DOWN. IT HAS OPENED MY EYES AND CHANGED ME AS A PERSON. THANKS TO ANGELINA AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON MENTIONED IN THE BOOK FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE, PEACE X
