It contains no songs, which is a good thing because even though Disney songs are usually great, they would be out of place in an action adventure movie such as this. Don't expect a cutesy fluffy bunny movie, but top-notch special effects action sequences. One thing which really annoyed me was a character called Mole. I hate him, and without him, or if his character was less zany, I probably would have given this movie five stars.

A departure for a Disney film, but well carried. A definate must-see.

My opinion of the film is that its a good film.But its no way up to the Disney standard that other movies are like the Lion King,Aladdin,and Snow White.People expecting to find this movie like other Disney movies will be in for a shock.For me the story line is a bit weak also.But if you are wanting to see a Disney movie presented in a more serious way then this could be a movie for you.

Would I buy it? yes I would but its not got the same Disney magic that other titles have.

It would be helpful to have an average age suggestion for children's video releases. I had to ring my daughter to find out her views and she said they had discussed it with friends and decided it was too violent for her daughters of 4 and six years old.

If your kids and the rest of the family want to see the best cartoon of the year buy this movie. It has a good storyline, brilliently animated and a must.

Atlantis is an excellent film. It really lives up to the disney name. Everyone will be glued to the screen as soon as it starts(adults and children alike). It is a pure classic. It is a about a guy who decides to follow in him grandfathers footsteps and try and find the magical city of Atlantis. If you only buy one dvd this year please let it be Atlantis the lost empire!
