As I watch my daughters face light up with expectation once she hears the well known disney introduction. As the fim starts she immediately begins to dance along with Belle.

As the scary part of the film starts we cuddle up and then at the end as the beast becomes the prince she smiles with joy.

This is simply a classic that every child should see at least once but take my word for it, it will be seen time and time and time again!!!

Disney have had some great tales: Snow White, Lion King, Lilo & Stitch, and one of my favorites is Beauty & The Beast, and this DVD does it justice!

Two discs, three versions of the film, what can you expect? Well, the first "Special Edition" version has a new song, 'Human Again', which shows the servants side of the story, wanting to be human once more. Although the song isn't in the original, its rather catchy and got me humming it at work. *hides in shame*

Anyway, the other two versions I decided not to watch, because I had seen the original version, and I didn't want to see the sketched version. The special features then go about Disney's goal to tell great stories and how he had decided to do Beauty & The Beast, but never figured out how.

It's magical, its everything you saw, and I hope that there are more Disney DVDs as magical as this one, because I truely went back to my inner child, and I'm 19! Anyway, if you're a Disney fan, buy it. If you loved it on cinema, then I suggest buying it for the extra song. It's amazing!

Ahhhh, with this film, we return to the classic Disney, which, in my opinion, is Disney as it should be. The animation is superb, the voice casting is excellent. Combine all this and more and Walt Disney will be beaming like the sun from Heaven.
I have to hand it to the creators of such a magnificent film for all the family. Buy it especially for your kids, but if you want to, have a go yourself. It takes us back to the good old days when Walt Disney was alive, producing true classics.
