Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Lofty is taller than everyone, but he's also afraid of almost everyone. With his hook for lifting, a demolition ball for knocking down buildings, and his claw for gripping, Lofty is a valuable friend. Includes smart magnets. 3 Years +

3 out of 5 stars what no wheels?   October 8, 2008
Ho ho ho! I've just been shopping online to buy a new Lofty for my son as two of its wheels have broken off! Didn't realize this was such a common problem- I assumed he had been a little too rough. After reading all the other reviews it sounds like there is no point in buying another...

1 out of 5 stars poor design   April 28, 2008
my sons have all the toys in this range, and they are mostly very well designed and made. Unfortunately Lofty is very poorly put together. We've had two of these now - the first one broke within a couple of weeks, the second one within half an hour! The hubs that attach the wheels to the axles are very weak, and with even the slightest pressure and the wheels come off. And that's that. A real shame - how are we supposed to complete the set!?

5 out of 5 stars Great fun   April 19, 2008
I agree the durability of this range could be better, but for the enjoyment factor my son takes his everywhere with him.

never had a toy he has enjoyed so much.

p.s. im on my second scoop.

1 out of 5 stars Broken Wheels   March 26, 2008
further to the 2 reviews i purchased Lofty as he was the only one my sn didn't have (alongside scoop which we purchased at the same time)
surprise his wheel came of the day after i gave it to my son as an easter present
we have had to take this off him now and he is not happy
i was very disappointed

2 out of 5 stars Falls apart   October 22, 2007
I agree with the previous reviewer. I have now purchased 2 Lofties and in both cases, the wheels have come off (literally) within a few weeks.
