great intoduction to strategic thinking September 1, 2008

Bought this for my 5 year old daughter after she requested it. She loves it and challenges any visitors to our house. Uncomplicated and fun, I would recommend ths to anyone, not just 8 and up. Just keep it away from babies as there are some very small pieces.

I love this game. Blokus really makes you think strategically and brings out your competitive streak. Be warned, it's also completely addictive! I can highly recommend this game and it's a great to play with friends.

This is quite possibly the best game i've ever played - so simple, so addictive, and made me realise how competitive i actually am. i really like the packaging and the coloured pieces. i think anyone who buys this game will become an instant addict - i have been converted into a true Blokus fan.

you'll love this! Bought it for Christmas 2007 after having read good reviews. It lived up to expectations. Played it with both adults and kids and it is a good challenging and thought provoking game. It's quick, usually no longer than half an hour and not too intense for a strategy game. The board and pieces are well made and it works well with either two or four players - three players isn't brilliant- you'd have to play it to see why. Highly recommended!

Bought this for my husband - and it's adored by my 4 and 6 year old. The theory is not that difficult, though my 4 year old hasn't mastered the strategy yet he can still play and it's not put him off. Games take about 20 mins, so not much room to get bored. We found it OK to play as 2 player as long as you take alternate colours. Only 3 stars for durability as if the pieces are lost not sure how easy it would be to recreate them.
