WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 completely blows every other wrestling game out of the water. The season mode is better, the general manager mode is better, and the graphics are the best they have ever been.
Another good thing about this game is that every superstar is on the brand they are supposed to be on (for the time being). Randy Orton is on Smackdown, and is supposed to be on Raw. Kane is on Raw, and is supposed to be on Smackdown. Oh well, they did all they could.
There is also a major glitch in this game. If you choose a tag team match, they will only say one superstar's name as you are making your way to the ring. They make so many copies of these that they were bound to mess some of them up.

Bought this game because i had 2006 and didnt expect it to be a lot better than 2006 but i was pleasantly surprised. rey mysterio still has his awesome entrance and there are some superstars like The Great Khali that i didnt even know existed! this game is well worth the money. i suggest that you buy 2006 and 2007 and decide for yourself but ive made mine!!

Obviously the best wrestling game to date. Great to play, addictive multiplayer with friends and the strong grapples are excellent. Only bad thing is the quality superstars that have been left out, like Jeff Hardy and Paul London. You can make them on create a wrestler though, so it's okay

If you like Wrestling Games then WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 is your game. THQ and its fellow developers have massively improved the game in just about all areas. In Season Mode you can now play two FULL seasons without Storyline repetition. In Create a Moveset you can now rotate the Camera so you can see your favourite Wrestling Moves from all angles. In Create an Entrance you can almost do just about everything. You can choose when Fireworks, Name Plates, Screen Effects and Room Lighting is displayed. It really is a must buy. The only thing that let me down is that there are several Commentary Glitches, for example if you hut an opponent with a steel chair they will respond by saying "Stone Cold Stunner!" Hopefully the upcoming WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 will be at the same or even better quality and that the Commentary Glitches will be fixed.

This game is a fine update but really in my opinion it has taken the series to long to get here. It is basically the same game as smackdown vs raw 2006 except for some minor improvements and even though this is a good game it really is beginning to get on.Even though this isnt important -how many attempts does it take to scale the wrestlers correct and not have them looking fat or out of shape or bigger than they should be? This is the first game i noticed to really scale the wrestlers correctly . They made a mess of size in all but the last 4 smackdown games where they sort of got it correct .Even though the gameplay has been improved the wrestlers dont move as smoothly as they did in the older smackdown games and the fun element has been sort of lost as it isnt as random as it usued to be.
But apart from that and the strange choice of roster it is a fine game but has been seen before and need a rethink instead of churning out the same for the next years ect
One other problem i see was the caw system which is to complicated as i coulndt be bothered to use as its too hard and takes too much time to create a caw and get it correct. The first 2 smackdown games had random bits and pieces to create and was easier and more fun ect
Now i alos cant understand why the wrestlers have only costume as it gets boring and i dont like the excuses that are given for this -such as it take more time ect RAW 2 on xbox has the similar good graphics and the wrestlers have 2 costumes at least .also you cant edit a wrestler which raw 2 has -why is this?? The smackdown games are the best in wrestling and have the most support yet raw 2 on the retired xbox can have this???
Basically the smackdown games are getting old and repitive and not what they once where dispite impressive graphics for a ps2 -like alot of games with sequels they need a rethink and new features. They have the potential to be the best but arent using it . Now i realise alot of reviews rate this well to average and therfore it needs a easier caw system or the option for parts of wrestlers .They also need more than 1 costume no matter how detailed they are. Smackdown sym and hctp -in my opinion the best and most fun of all the smackdowns -they had more than one costume. Larger character models would be nicer as well -something the xbox games had
