KANE & BIG SHOW VS. CARLITO & CHRIS MATSERS-(WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES)-
okay match for an opener but since this was wrestlemania it's rubbish!a very bad match.3/10
BOOKER T & SHARMELL VS. THE BOOGEYMAN-(HANDICAP)-
a complete disaster!!!!!!! 1/10
J.B.L VS. CHRIS BENOIT-(UNITED STATES TITLE)-
probably the best match so far. a good title match.6/10
MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
wow!!!! absoloutely amazing moves were pulled off here with or without the ladders. this match was taken to the extreme by the six men in this ring. rvd won the contract and succesfully cashed it in at one night stand! 10/10
MICKIE JAMES VS. TRISH STRATUS-(WOMENS TITLE)-
a brilliant match these two divas pulled off at wrestlemania. a classic match definetaly!!! 8/10
EDGE VS. MICK FOLEY-(HARDCORE)-
these two superstars really brought the hardcore aura out of both men. these guys went through barbed wire to garbage cans & road signs!!! a shocking ending when edge speared mick foley through a flaming table for the victory!!!!! 10/10
SHAWN MICHAELS VS. VINCE MCMAHON-(NO HOLDS BARRED)-
this rivaly definetaly scarred hbk mentally and physically. but shawn got his revenge here by taking out both shane and vince mcmahon! a crazy ending here when shawn jumped off a 20ft. ladder through a garbage can and a table onto vince.!!!! 10/10
REY MYSTERIO VS. RANDY ORTON VS. KURT ANGLE-(WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE)-
shocking.these three guys really took an advantage over the triple threat rules. a shocking victory for mysterio!!!!! 10/10
TORRIE WILSON VS. CANDICE MICHELLE-(PILLOW FIGHT)-
quite a funny match but a respectable match also for these two divas! 9/10
JOHN CENA VS. TRIPLE H-(WWE TITLE)-
a match that deserved to be a wrestlemania main event! brilliant!!! 10/10

Wrestlemania 22 will go down as one of the modern great events,of that i have no doubt,a great card,a few flaws perhaps,but what matters most is that the majority of matches were superb and you cant really ask for more than that.
The event opened with the world tag team championship up for grabs,the champs kane and big show went up against chris masters and carlito.This wasnt an out and out classic but was a worthy enough opener,the match was uneven in terms of dominance but was solid enough and captivating.
The money in the bank ladder match was next and what a match,what a match indeed,the combatants were matt hardy,rvd,bobby lashley,ric flair,finlay and shelton benjamin(thankfully at this stage 'momma' was gone,),this match had so much going on that you would need multiple screen angles to keep up with it,glorious moves a plenty and suicidal tendencies flooded this match,superb.
The united states championship was up next,the champ chris benoit went up against JBL in a very physical and lively encounter,the best of both worlds then,the ourtcome was good and the crowd were very vocal here.
Next up was a match so good that it could be released on a dvd by itself,well at 15 minutes it may be a bit stingy,but if it was it would make for a great seller,a hardcore rules match where mick foley went up against edge.This was viciously brutal with a very nasty heart,blood flew like wine at a tramp convention,this was excellent,i cant find the words to say anything else,see for yourself.
Next up was a bit of a lame match,wasnt terrible,but i have one word for you that just is wrong in a review this good,wait for it-boogeyman,yes that idiot with the terrible gimmick,he went up against booker t and charmell in a handicap match,the match wasnt awful but booker t didnt really want to fight this clown but he did his best and as for the validity of a falling chokebomb as a cause of defeat,i dont buy it.
mickie james went up against trish in a decent enough match next for the wwe womans championship,in keeping with the energy and expectation that mania creates these two ladies rose to the moment and did their part decently.
The undertaker and mark henry were up next and they contested in a casket match and this was good,henry and pay per views are sometimes a source of contention,especially when he headlines them but here he plays his part against a man that was on a mission,a good contest.
A no holds barred match was up next and was again a classic,shawn michaels and vince mcmahon fought here in a brutal and snappy contest,shawn michaels brought the best out of WWE owner vince here as he does with everyone really and this was just a very enjoyable match.
The world heavyweight championship was up next in a triple threat match,the champ kurt angle went up against randy orton and rey mysterio in a very good match,this match was fast and skilled and aggressive enough so a winning combination,each men did their best to maintain a level of passion that meant that this match didnt sour,great.
A pillow fight between torrie and candice bored the crowd next,dear lord,why so high up on the bill,oh yeah,we can all make tea i suppose and then we were onto the main event.
The WWE chamionship was up for grabs next as the champ john cena defended it against triple h,this match was great and the crowd played their part,they cheered on the heel triple h more than they did cena and turned this match on its head,both men gave their all and this was a brilliantly carved match,i couldnt ask for more really.
The dvd extras include cena pleading with the crowd the next night on RAW as to whether they are with him or not,mick foley getting stitches after his match and the return of saturday nights main event which isnt great but has a nice street fight between shawn michaels and shane mcmahon and the third disc has the 2006 hall of fame featuring bret hart who wouldnt show his all to proud face at mania itself.
This is a great dvd package and im praising it well,4 stars.

This is perhaps the best wrestlemania of the last 3 year's!As a whole package it's amazing!!!Just take a look at what you can find in this one of a kind 3 disc box-set:Hall of Fame 2006 Induction Ceremony(maybe the best one of recent memory:Bret Hart;Eddie Guerrero(r.i.p.); Mean Gene Okerlund,just to name a few of them)!!;a very solid show from beginning to end(Money In The Bank Ladder Match was unbelievable,a must see!,Triple H vs.John Cena was outstanding, with a priceless crowd always vibrant and electric!,HBK vs Mr. Mcmahon was a very solid and entertaining brawl; the hardcore match between Edge(w./Lita)vs Mick Foley was quite simply the best hardcore match of the decade(literally!!!!),the extras are great,i mean you have Saturday's Main Event and The Hall Of Fame in it's entirety!!!and so many other surprises!So,don't hesitate ,go to Amazon.co.uk and pick this excellent 3 disc box-set,5 stars for sure!!!!!!

Tag Titls - Carlito & Masters Vs Show & Kane(C) - Was expecting total rubbish, but found it rather entertaining. 6/10
Money In The Bank - Once again Shelton was man of the match alongside RVD this time. Shelton comes outta nowhere near the end. Nature Boy shows he can still hang with the best. 8/10
Tag Titles - JBL Vs Benoit(C) - Benoit trys but JBL is no Wrestling God. 3/10
Hardcore Match - Edge Vs Foley - MOTN. Blood, Tables & FIRE. Gotta love it. Best hardcore match. NO, but still damn gud. 9/10
Boogeyman Vs Booker - Booker does not deserves this hes a king for gods sake. 1/10
Womens Title - Mickey James Vs Trish Stratus - Expected Better. But wasnt bad. 6/10
Casket MAtch - Mark Henry Vs Undertaker - Meh. Not good, fire mark henry. 3/10
HBK Vs Mr McMahon - HOLY S*** tat was impressive gotta give it to Vince for taking a beating like tat. WAY KOOL match. Nearly as gud as Edge Vs Foley 9/10.
World Title - Mysterio Vs Orton Vs Angle(C) - Was it gud for the time. Hell Yus. But world title matches shudnt be that short. Still gr8 for the short time it was on. + Rey won the Rumble, Y isnt this the main event. O tats rite cos vince doesnt like Smackdown. 7/10
Torrie Wilson Vs Candice Michelle - Toilet Break. 0/10
WWE Title - HHH Vs Cena(C) - HHH's entrance was kool. Cena's was crappie. Match was Boring. Crowd was awesome. 8/10 for the crowd. 5/10 for the match.
Overall it was WRESTLEMANIA so i have to love it.
