My children (5 and 9) were given V2 tamagotchis last year and have played with them more than any other toy. They are always there for car journeys or quiet moments. The little creatures have had endless babies, died, changed, been showered with presents, made and lost friends, and never seem to loose their fascination for the children. I don't see how V3 can be better! Seriously good fun for the children, but teach them how to pause the blasted things or you will end up babysitting in the evenings and during school hours. And woe betide you let one die while you're on duty.... Having said that, there's nothing more fun than producing a desperately bleeping one during an important meeting at work and clearning up its pooh....
