Just bought myself a piece of the Harkness... March 30, 2007

I just bought myself one of these fantastic little action figures today. The overall likeness to actor John Barrowman is very good - they also got the tone of his eyes just right. I'm going to use mine to protect my Tardis money box though I do think they should make a Torchwood version of him with his grey coat - that would be fantastic!

A strong leader who makes the hard decisions when needed (killed the Cyber Woman who threatened the Cardiff and sent "the alien women in comfortable shoes" to the centre of the sun) and leads by example (stormed the bleak village in Wales and shot enemy combatants to save his colleagues).
Have Capt Jack "protect" your desk space, place him in the desired pose with his Sonic Blaster to keep threats at bay; well whatever threatens your desk space, possibly those little ones from a local planet...
Let's have another model figure but this time in his long overcoat, mean and purposeful.

I own 5 of these little guys now :) It's a great toy. It has 12 points of articulation and is easily posed. He can even ride the K-9 remote control toy like a surfboard! It can be remodeled with paint and milliput into the other costumes of Captain Jack. I'm a big fan of John Barrowman & i think this action figure does him justice :)

Well, no Doctor Who collection would ever be complete without the loveable rogue that is Captain Jack Harkness.
Modelled on his first appearance in 'The Empty Child', the figure boasts an excellent reproduction of John Barrowman's face - especially from the left side.
The figure is very poseable with the standard joints and one at the middle to allow for turning at the waist.
He comes complete with his sonic blaster accessory which is great for all those kids out there as this will be the first Doctor Who figure that comes with a gun to shoot the bad guys.
A must for any collection although my other half wishes the figure was modelled after his appearance in 'Bad Wolf'!
