Product Description Wouldn't it be great to have the intimate atmosphere of candlelight without the hassle of candles? That's exactly what you get with the Imageo Candle Lights from Philips. Ideal for restaurants, hotels and cafes (both indoors and outside) or anywhere else where ambience is vitally important for business. With Imageo Candle Light, you have the glow and gentle flicker associated with candles, but none of the drawbacks of an open flame. Candle Light is an LED light source designed so that its appearance, right down to its flickering, dancing yellow light, is just like the real thing.

Fab alternative to burning candles November 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We saw a similar product on holiday in Turkey, so I sought out these Philips LED Rechargeable Candle Lights on my return last year and shall be buying them for others as Christmas gifts this year.
They look so pretty when "lit". You literally just turn them upside down to turn on or off. Great idea if you like candles but have children around.
How many of these things is it going to take? November 9, 2008 If you're wondering how many imageo candles you'd need on your solitary desk to write a memoir or do some pen and ink drawing in a darkened room, afraid to say the number is somewhere in the region of 12. (You can forget about working with colour under these things on account of they're way too yellowy.) That's an awful lot of money and an awful lot of deskspace, but once the investment is made you're basically laughing - so long as you're into the Barry Lyndon / Baz Luhrman's Romeo & Juliet look, which you probably are if you've got this far in your quest for multiple rechargeable firesafe candle satisfaction. The glass is classier (and substantially heavier) than you could hope to expect, and if anybody calls you on Skype videophone you're gonna look good for the camera even if they caught you a bit unkempt. Bargain!
A brilliant alternative to real candles November 7, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these from Amazon a little while ago and I am thrilled with them. As I have two cats and a dog, I have not dared to use real candles in the house, for fear that they would be knocked over. When I saw these I was a bit apprehensive, but I am very pleased with the gentle glow they produce and how long they glow off one charge. Obviously, I don't want to damage the candle lights so I still keep them out of the pets way though!
I put them in various rooms in the house and am considering buying another set to add the the ambience for a forthcoming party.
A nice gift... November 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these as a gift for my partner as I know she enjoys things that lend atmosphere to a room and neither she nor I were disapointed with these little Phillips lights.
The build quality seems good and they are well packaged. They take about twelve hours to charge. The charger turns itself off when they are done, which is a useful touch. Once charged they burn for many hours before needing a top up.
Don't look on these items as being a light source, they are not, and not designed as such. They are a sort of safe imititation candle designed throw a pleasanr warm glow over a dining table or perhaps as a discreet night light. They go well with soft music, conversation and fine food...
So if you want to give your dinner table or even your bedroom some atmosphere then look no further.
Disappointing & overpriced November 4, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sorry to buck the review trend here but I was very disappointed with this product. One of the lights didn't operate properly (which doesn't seem uncommon from reading some other reviews) and the 'candles' emit a minimum level of light. I realise some people will have safety concerns over candles (indeed, I bought these so my 2 year old can see in the loo without the light being on constantly) but I didn't find these useful at all and I returned them the next day.
