4 out of 5 stars A great and enjoyable game!   January 29, 2008

I really did like this game. For Christmas, i got this game and Destroy All Humans! 2. The unfortunate thing is that i hardly ever play Destroy All Humans! 2 now, as this game distracted me. It is really good.

Its a brilliant game for two players, i dont know how good it is one player, but for two players, brilliant, hence only four stars, instead of five.

The levels are long, which is brilliant, and the versus arenas provide an excellent piece of 'side entertainment', if you understand. No? I dont really blame you.

But to be honest, the only drawback is that they didnt put the last boss as a playable chracter. I wont say who it is, but they didnt do that, which they shud of.

Anyways, i really advise getting this game. A brilliant set of chracters to play with, fairly good graphics, good upgrades to get, replayable levels, good fun versus mode, as well as co-op. And thats it, so just buy it. You read this review, so you may as well finish the job :)

i'm no gamie, but a willing dad! my 7 yr old son got this game after playing the 'free-roaming' games spiderman the movie 2 and 3. he loves it. although not as glossy as the more recent ones it is excellent fun. the view of game play is from a more distant perspective but the fighting moves are great fun. it resembles 'the incredibles' game. there is no city-scape, rather you travel through levels and lands fighting hoards of enemies along the way (like the incredibles). it is great as a 2 player, there are many choices of characters to play as. i found it a riot to play, very playful, lots of wacky moves and it keeps developing as abilities are unlocked. i much prefer this to spiderman 3 (which is less sociable, more self absorbed.) would enthusiastically recommend it.
