A lovely little book August 5, 2008
I bought this book for my 2 year old daughter, and it instantly became her favourite. It captures her interest throughout the story, and leaves her wanting more! With being requested a million times she now knows it virtually word for word and reads it to herself.....so I no longer have to read it to her!!! I would definately recommend it for any little girl.
A Fantastic Book April 20, 2008
I bought this book for my little girl about a month back. I have read it so many times already I know it off by heart! She absolutely adorees it, & makes me read it again & again & again! Occasionally I try to swap it for another book, but she doesn't want to know - she will just go & find this book again, & make me read it! She is only just 1, but still, she finds the story & the beautiful pictures fasinating. I have just bought all the other blue kangaroo books for a bit of variety for me! I am sure she will love them all as much as I Love You, Blue Kangaroo!
Brilliant August 9, 2006
This book was given to us before my daughter turned one. Now at 15 months it has come into its own. It is a book that even now she will bring to us and sit herself down on our laps to have read to her - over and over and over.......
Having read this at least 2 dozen times this week alone I can only recommend it for the beautiful illustrations and lovely story. The only problem is I now know it word for word

My little girl loves this although only 18 months old. The language is rich with a wonderful range of adjectives (eg fleecy, huggable, floppy, velvety). Gorgeous colours. A very tender tale.

This immediately became my daughter's favourite and, despite having read it to her a couple of hundred times, I am still mostly sane. Also, because the story is all about taking your favourite cuddly toys to bed, it is an ideal book to calm everything down before bedtime. highly recommended.
