Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Going to Sleep on the Farm perfect for toddlers   December 22, 2006
My daughter, now 2 1/4, has been enjoying this book for nearly a year. We always come back to it. A father is seen observing his little boy at play with toy animals as the animals' live counterparts go to sleep. The evening scenes of the farm are beautiful, and the poetic narrative of how each animal settles is rhythmically satisfying, with plenty of opportunity for little readers to make animal noises. The father's subtle hints at the lateness of the boy's play are an extra treat for parents: a yawn, a glance at his watch. I'm sending this as a gift to friends because we just don't get tired of "Sleepy Farm," as my daughter calls it.

5 out of 5 stars Best bed time story in our house   February 16, 2001
The book "Going to sleep on the farm" got five stars by my two year old girls and my four year old girl. They love reading it and looking at the pictures. The book describes farm animals and how they go to sleep and in the end ask the child "How do you go to sleep tell me how, how do you go to sleep?". My girl's answer to this question is: "No, we don't sleep!!!".
