I bought this recently and wish that I'd come across it years ago. It turns our approaches to health promotion around in looking at what makes us well rather than what makes us ill.So it extolls the virtues of all the things your instinct tells you are good for you..enjoyable food, relationships, nature, shopping, chocolate...the list is long! It seems based on sound research if the references to studies are correct. Although it doesn't give full academic references linked to the text which is disappointing to those who might want to follow things up.But a great positive read which should spur the reader on to a life of pleasures small and large...all in the interests of health of course!
