Though not a fashionable technique nowadays, given the prominence of cognitive behavioural methods, Hudson and MacDonald provide an excellent introduction to behavioural work, guiding practitioners through problem definition, the setting up of a programme, and the monitoring of change and effectiveness. First class introduction.
