Percy byshhe Shelley is one of the greatest English poets, and this edition captures his greatness. Shelley wrote some of the greatest poems in the language such as Mask of Anarchy, Prometheus Unbound, Queen Mab, Adonais, Witch of Atlas and Ode to the West Wind. His influence is profound and largely unacknowledged, especially his influence on film and pop music. He his beyond normal literary poetry and in my opinion he is the only poet that really matters. His various poetry can be describe as metaphysical, cosmic, psychological, transcendant, personal, subjective, grungy, punk, progressive, romantic, mystical, magical, religious, historical, symbolic and value-laden. He is the antithesis of sad, limited, narrow, bitter, dry, reasonable poets such as Auden, Larkin, Heaney & Dryden.
