Nursing Research Designs & Methods April 15, 2008
As a second year student I have found this to be a great introduction to nursing research. The book has been structured in logical sections: (1) Approaches to Research, (2) The Process of Research, (3) Research Designs and (4) Data Collection and Analysis.
Of particular relevance for me is section 2 - The Process of Research, this has given me an insight into accessing and evaluating literature. A great aid to build up confidence on using research. This will help me ensure my writing and practice is supported by quality research.
An excellent book to help me with my degree, it is practical and written in an easy to use style and includes each chapter includes exercises to help build understanding. This book is an excellent resource and I expect it to be much used over the next couple of years.
