This book contains everything I wish I had known when I started working in neuro-rehabilitation. Unlike most text books in the field this book removes the jargon from Neuropsychological Rehabilitation. It is a 'how to' book for delivering the often complex theory behind brain injury to patients in a therapeutic setting. It is an excellent example of patient centred practice, providing information, analogies, and insights that bring neuropsychology into real-life rehabilitation. Not only is it a complete and comprehensive guide to running group based therapy for patients who have suffered a head injury, the content can easily be used in one-to-one rehabilitation. I would highly recommend this book for trainee or newly qualified Clinical and Health Psychologists, but it is also a valuable resource for Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists already working in neuro-rehabilitation.
