freeglader rocks!-a childrens review. January 29, 2007 a dramatic conclusion to the barkwater seqeunce, freeglader takes the reader through the treacherous mire, evil shryke battle-flock,dangerous edge lands, and concludes with an amazing battle between the ghosts of screetown, rook, the freeglade lancers and the goblin-nations.a brilliant read!
forward the lancers! January 28, 2007 The final book in the Rook trilogy, this is definitely my favourite edge chronicle. The story continues from Vox as the undertowners leave their ruined home on a mass exodus to the free glades. But it's a dangerous journey across the edge, and they must avoid sepia storms, escape logworms, and battle shrykes. But when they reach the free glades, their troubles aren't over. The goblin nations are massing for war, and the people must fight for the glades.Freeglader is an absolutely brilliant book, with great battles (and alot of them too!) I loved Freeglader, and if you like this, read The last of the sky pirates, and Vox.

This book is simply amazing. I got dragged into the story and just couldnt put the book down. I have read all the other books in the edge chronicles, they are all fabulous! It is a good book for older children and young adults. But before you buy this book i would suggest reading the ones before it.
