5 out of 5 stars Helpful Beyond Belief   September 4, 2002

Having read the 2002 edition I am amazed at how many tips and information can be put into one book but still be clear and concise.

Everything in the book is so helpful, I defy anyone to read it and not know some of the do and dont's of Disney World.

We used the guide on our first visit in 1999 and it proved an invaluable tool in the planning before we left and while we were in Orlando.

If you only buy one book before you start to plan your Orlando and Disney World holiday I would recommend this one. It is worth every penny.

5 out of 5 stars How to survive Disneyland with minimum queueing!   August 31, 2002

If you're planning a trip to Florida to do the Disney thing you would be well advised to take this book. It includes a chart showing the busiest and least busy days for each park which made it worth the money on its own.

We planned our entire schedule around this chart, making sure we were at each park on their quiet day. Then we took the book's advice and turned up early to do all the rides suggested first thing before the crowds arrived. Consequently (and to my amazement) we never had to queue longer than 10 minutes for anything - and this was in August.

You don't need to keep it with you all the time, but if you want to come home feeling like you've had a holiday rather than feeling like you need another one, you should use this to plan your time.

Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Don't leave for Orlando without it!   August 13, 2002
Our trip to Orlando would have been total chaos without Simon Venesses book - we knew what we wanted to do but we had no idea of the logistics and planning involved until we read A Brits Guide to Orlando and Walt Disney World 2002. This book is an invaluable blueprint that helped us create a fabulous holiday. Anyone even simply contemplating a trip to Orlando should buy and study this book for a number of months prior to leaving or even booking their holiday, and then take it with them as a fountain of tips and advice about everything that is new to you but not Simon Veness!!

5 out of 5 stars Don't leave home without it   August 5, 2002
If its your fist time to orlando or your tenth time you will still find up to the minute information , its saves loads of time deciding what to do first. We followed the book and it was never wrong. An absolute must and a real bargin.

5 out of 5 stars Going to Orlando - you gotta have this !   August 5, 2002

You really only need to take one guide with you to Orlando and this is it. Simon Veness's guide will make such a difference to your stay in the area. It has details of all the theme parks - when to go , when not to go , ride details and is peppered with useful 'Brit Tips' throughout. We found it invaluable as did our friends who were there at the same time as us and had their own copy. Everything in this book checks out . Without it we would have wasted precious time and shoe leather ! It not only details the theme parks , it has separate chapters on Eating Out , other attractions in Florida and therefore became such a part of our holiday , we never left home without it . You should do the same.
