5 out of 5 stars A must have book!   June 10, 2005

We bought this book before we went on our first trip to Orlando and couldn't believe how helpful it was. We have now got the book out again as we are in the process of planning our 3rd visit. If you are planning to go to Orlando (or even if you have been before and haven't already got it), buy this book.

This book is an absolute must for anyone visiting WDW for the first time. The plethora of information coupled with practical time saving tips are worth the cost of the book alone.

Buy it at least 6 weeks prior to departure, read it, decide where you want to visit and in which order, discuss it with your kids, and then decide all over again.

The most highly recommended book I've read this year, lets face it, you spend a fortune on a foreign family holiday, spend this little extra to ensure you fully enjoy all that Orlando and WDW can offer.

5 out of 5 stars Addictive reading   September 25, 2004

I was planning my 4th trip to Orlando before I bought this book. I wanted to discover some of the lesser known attractions, but found I'd missed some wonderful things at the major ones! This book told me about the behind the scenes tours, the attractions I'd missed and the places to buy the cheapest tickets. It even gave me some decent radio stations to listen to! I started off just looking up the items I was interested in but ended up reading it cover to cover. A fantastic guide.

We first went to Orlando in 2001 and bought this book before we went. It was an excellent resource prior to going, enabling us to pre plan our trip to a large extent. We also took this book out with us every day wherever we went as it gave us a quick, accurate guide to rides we were about to go on, and whether they were suitable for each of us. It also gave us a good idea of various restaurants and the quality, value for money and level of expense prior to going in. Not only did it tell us the positives of various things, but it also told us any negative aspects too, which was really helpful (and accurate!). We have just booked to go back to Orlando next April 2005 and i have just preordered the 2005 Guide to take with us!

5 out of 5 stars An absolute gem   August 2, 2004

My family and I are planning a trip to Florida next year so I was looking for a book which could give us a head-start in where to head once we get to the parks.

This book gives you a run down on what the rides entail and gives it a T or an A rating depending on how thrilling or scenic the ride is. It also gives you plenty of tips for getting the most out of each day and contains lots of information on dining, accomodation, driving plus lots more. It even gives you information about a place you can hire walkie-talkies or mobile phones in case you want to split up in the park and meet again later.

The thing that impressed me was the list of parks showing their busiest and quietest days to enable you to plan a day when you can get to see the most attractions/ride the most rides.

A must for any Brit travelling to Florida.
