Dr Raj may recently have hit the headlines for paying one literary 'homage' too many, but never mind the fact that his medical license has been suspended for three months! This book still contains extremely relevant advice for those who are seeking to obtain a soul mate. Beginning with the process of capturing your ideal partner, Dr Raj also goes on to offer some useful tips on how to secure them for the long haul. If Persaud's approach lacks in old-fashioned romanticism, it more than makes up for that in terms of effectiveness. Admittedly, he does not offer a great deal of information that couldn't be picked up from a number of other self-help books, but what else would you expect from the old magpie! The important thing is that once you're armed with this advice, no woman will be able to escape your clutches. From fitting out a cellar with soundproofing, to the purchase of a reliable tranquilizer gun, Dr Raj will guide you through each and every stage of the process.

I found this book to be a disapointment; simply because it is not what the title says it is. Most of this book is about statistics; what the scientists and or doctors/university proffesors have found. If you want a book that talks about statistics, this is the perfect buy, otherwise, don't buy it - you'll waste your time and money.

This book really qualifies a lot of things in the dating world--i.e. that in order to find the "perfect" mate, you must become irristible to them. It's a good concept and can really help when you're out looking for a potential partner. However, if you want to "date around" a bit more, then this book isn't really about that. It's about "the one", so to speak. However, it's got a lot of valuable information inside and could help quite a bit. Along with this one, I also recommend "Chicks: A User's Guide" for men as I found it helped me with my game as well.

How can anyone research love - that age old universal conundrum? This book is rife with all the secrets one shares with best friends and teaches the tools of how to deal with any love-related issue that should arise, and if any issues do arise after you've read Simply Irresistible you should ask for your money back.
