This is a must for any student nurse! As a second year student nurse this is a vital book and I would recommend it to any student nurse! As a student nurse I have several books on A and P but this book contains a massive amount on this topic as well as on clinical nursing pratcice.
The book is easy to read and broken down into 'chunk size pieces' with headings allowing you to find information easily. This format also allows you to be able to dip in and out of the book without being put off by pages of writting.
The book not only provides information on care and clinical principles but also has chapters on a vast amount of specific patient groups such as caring for patients with cancer. This I found to be extremly helpful for the module of Specfic Health Needs in year2.
Overall a very good and a must for student nurses!

An excellent book, probably the only one that any nursing student will need for the whole of their training (well perhaps a nurses dictionary too would help!). Easy to read, referenced and current - a must have for students and registered nurses alike. Indeed, medical students and doctors would benefit from reading it too. Really good value for money.

Although i have a good anatomy and physiology book, at home, i used a uni copy of this text. I found it easy to use, and written in a easily understandable manner. It also had all the answers i was looking for. So i have ordered my own copy. I am a 2nd year student and am sure it will come in useful when i am qualified as well.

I borrowed this book off a friend and wow, it certainly makes for easy reading for someone in their Nurse Training. I' m a first year student and being the fact that all the medical terms and preferences were all new to me, I do feel that this is an exellant choice for those who have little medical knowledge, but also an all rounder for those even in further training and beyond. Which why i have just ordered this myself. What a bargain!!
