I would recommend reading the manual that comes with the hibernate download as they atlease know what they are taking about.

Bad books don't just waste your money, they also waste your time, which is much worse. Happily this book is SO bad that you can tell having read 20 pages or so and you won't waste any more time on it. The examples cannot have been checked or proof read at all as even the meanest intelligence can tell that they are seriously at fault. This book reflects so badly on the publisher that they really should withdraw it from sale. Surely all their books cannot be this bad.

Unfortunately I purchased my copy in a bookshop because I wanted a book on Hibernate that day. If I had come to amazon as I usually do the review already here would have saved me the money.

Hibernate in Action is the book that I was looking for but the bookshop was out of stock.

Full of mistakes and incomplete explanations. Looks like it was rushed out far too quickly.
