Customer Reviews: Cooking is Fun August 9, 2004 1 out of 1 found this review helpful I was first given this book in the early seventies and the origional was given to me at school for my "Domestic Science" classes. It has become my bible and I regularly go back to it to rediscover old favourites or check on weights and cooking times etc. It is ideal for the "New" cook and still is useful to any school child that needs a good reference and basic recipe book. It talks about Techniques, cuts of meat - were they are from and the best cooking method, menus and among the recipes there are even traditional favouites and simple international meals too.
