This book gives you all the information you could need for a satisfying surf trip. All the information you REALLY need, like where you can get away with throwing a tent up for the night without getting arrested, (and more importantly, where you can't!), where the best places for a cheap but good and filling apres surf meal are, and the important inside info on the hundreds of breaks listed. (Where the rips are, what the best tides are, where the crowds head to...)

A very very good and detailed book, and a must-pack if you are heading to Portugal for a surf trip. Well recommended.

I cannot even rate this guide as a book. Seems like a magazine with almost no pictures.

It's really a disappointment!

Very short info about the Portuguese spots, loads of info about restaurants and stuff like that tough.
But then again this wasn't supposed to be a tourist guide...

Almost no pictures and the ones that appear are black and white.

It could cover much more Portuguese surf spots.

Good points are the info on the spots that it has is accurate tough short.
And obviously being the only Portuguese only surf guide is a plus.

Should also note for the immense misspelling of Portuguese in this book. Being a book about Portugal I think some care should have been drawn to this detail.
