This book is useful and is OK, but I feel it has such potential and wastes it. It's only quite a short book and includes info that is fairly unnecessary i.e. pages on mountain wear. Surely anyone contemplating the challenge will be aware of this.
Time it was fully revised and expanded to include more detail of routes, training regimes, foods, GPS details etc etc.
We walked the four peaks but given 6 months off work to do it, I reckon I could double the size, and hence teh usefulness of this book !

From route plans through to recipes for hikers cake, this book is a (lightweight) necessity for all who are planning to do the walk. If you a planning for a group to tackle the 3 peaks you could do worse than make everyone have their own! Best of luck! Nick
