different levels, whether you're a fan or not March 31, 2007 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great book which can be read on many different levels. On the simplest it is a fun, easy to read book about the good Doctor, and even if you're not a die-hard fan (which I'm not I confess), this book is interesting for thso brought up on any generation of Who. On a different level, the book poses larger, thought-provoking questions about life, the universe and would provide some good material for discussions / quizzes etc. I enjoyed it on both levels, and somewhere in between and reccommend it to anyone who has a passing niterest in the Who phenomenon.

As A long time doctor who fan and christian i really enjoyed reading this book, it was very intresting to see how God relates to Doctor who. It is written in a very intresting and funny way. If you like this book i advised " Be More Like Jesus by watching T.V" also by top Authour Steve Couch
God and Doctor Who May 26, 2006 12 out of 19 found this review helpful
It seems to me that the authors have written a book about religion and thrown in some chunks of text about the good Doctor. I have watched Doctor Who since the first episode and while religion of some sort does appear now and again it does not warrant the sort of attention given to it by the authors. If I want to read about religion then I will buy a book about religion. I expect Doctor Who books to be about Doctor Who!
Putting the 'fun' back into 'fundamentalism'... April 25, 2006 17 out of 23 found this review helpful
Better than Cartmell's God-awful tome but pretty much a Trojan Horse for the 'intelligent design' lobby, this book drafts in the good Doctor's adventures to attempt to demonstrate that God is at work in the Doctor's Universe and therefore ours too.
Unfortunatley they forget that the real 'intelligent designers' of the Whonivers are not supernatural entities but the costume and prop designers listed in the credits.
Ray Cusick might have been a genius with a sink-plunger but he isn't God.
