Body and Soul Escapes April 24, 2008
I think this book is very well designed and gives you a great insight to the world of retreats. I found it invaluable on my travels, and will hopefully visiting many more of the places listed very soon!
Excellent resource February 14, 2008
This guide bok has been personally researched so all the recommendations you know have been tried and tested. The text and illustrations are done so well you all most feel you are escaping to many of the places reviewed and it is very inspiring to read it and know you can give yourself a break that will really replenish and renew!!

What I love about this book is its open invitation to go an adventure. As they say, 'it does what it says on the tin'! Caroline's writing style is very accessible and she is clearly passionate about this project. It is a beautifully illustrated book and a lovely read even if you are unlikely to take an actual trip. It has been keeping me sane throughout the murky winter months! A fantastic gift idea too.

I have many travel books, Hip Hotel Guides, Special places to stay etc, which often help me navigate my next holiday. Body and Soul Escapes hits the nail on the head when trying to find somewhere or something to do which is a little different.Brilliantly informative for a worldwide guide it has me dreaming of places to stay from the Cotswolds to Costa Rica. Great.

If you are looking for somewhere to relax, retreat and revive then this is the book for you. Body and Soul Escapes is Beautifully presented, thoroughly researched and full of useful, interesting and fascinating details.
Highly recommended.
